Up for auction is a nice and rare 1944 dated official US Army Pocket Guide to the cities of Norway, as issued to US personnel who had to deal with Norway, for example in the aftermath of the occupation of Norway by the British and in terms of understanding the culture, for example with dealing with Norwegian volunteers in the German Army. This interesting and decorative US Army book gives insights into the Norwegian culture and the different topographic regions of Norway, so that the US soldier would be familiar with the environment, including maps. The booklet is in very good condition for its age and nicely named on the cover. A rare pocket guide that will be a great piece for your WW2 collection!
