Vestige of the Nocturnal - Nivas Kanhere

Vestige of the Nocturnal by Nivas Kanhere Painting 30.0 x 40.0 :: This evocative abstract work utilizes a moody desaturated palette of slate blues charcoal and icy whites to create a sense of deep mystery and industrial grit. The composition is defined by a series of vertical and horizontal structural divisions suggesting the architectural ghost of a building or a reflection caught in fractured glass. The artist employs a sophisticated scraping technique where layers of paint are pulled across the canvas to reveal glimpses of the tones beneath. This creates a weathered distressed texture that feels both ancient and modern. The high-contrast interplay between the stark white highlights and the abyssal blacks in the center provides a focal point that feels like a flash of light in a rainy metropolis. It is a contemplative piece that balances the coldness of its color temperature with the raw tactile energy of its execution. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Abstract Width: 30.0 Height: 40.0 Depth: 2 Weight: 10 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
