This is an elegant vintage perfume bottle in Murano hand-blown glass, featuring delicate filigree work in pink and white tones with a distinctive cap. Murano glass is a type of artistic glass produced on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It is known for its beauty, quality, and uniqueness. It has been produced for centuries, and its history dates back to Roman times. In the 13th century, Venetian glassmakers were forced to move to Murano to reduce the risk of fires in the city. Since then, Murano has remained the center of Murano glass production. Murano glass is created using a variety of techniques, including glassblowing, fusing, and hand shaping. The glass can be colored with a range of pigments and can be decorated with techniques such as gilding, silvering, and enameling. • Total height: about 12 cm (including the cap). Conditions The item has no breaks. The bottle has been used to hold essences and there are still residues inside. The glass maintains its original brilliance but needs cleaning; the closure cap wobbles a bit. A meticulously preserved piece over time. Please note the photos, which are an integral part of the description. Tracked shipping will be entrusted to the courier.
