It is an improvement consisting of replacing the lithographic stone with a film (or cylinder). Period prints, titled and with the publisher’s seal on a label on the back. Dimensions: 36.2 x 29.21 cm (14.25 x 11.5 inches). Publisher: Editions Du Griffon Neuchâtel on heavy paper (220 g/m2). About the work: Vasarely’s pursuit of perfection imposes an absolute quality standard that only at that time the presses of Basel printers could satisfy. Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions du Griffon, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution, and diffusion of 19 albums and 12 screen prints gathering the highlights of his works. This unique print from a special edition was conceived and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and it is with that same commitment to quality that Editions du Griffon gave exceptional care to these seventy’s printed album series, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the prints.
