Vide poche - Sabino, Paris - Sea urchins - France - Opalescent glass coupe

Art Deco coupe in opalescent molded-press glass - Sabino France - Sea urchin model - circa 1930. Very fine circular coupe produced by Sabino France, a famous French glassmaking house of the Art Deco era founded by Marius-Ernest Sabino (1878-1961). The piece features a remarkable raised-relief decoration composed of botanical motifs evoking seaweed, punctuated by several stylized sea urchins with fine radiating striations. This decoration, particularly delicate, is highlighted by the translucency and opalescent reflections of the glass. In the center, the signature SABINO FRANCE appears, proving the authenticity of this coupe. The object perfectly illustrates the taste of French glassware from the Art Deco period with its stylized naturalistic décor and refined aesthetics. Generally good condition for its age, no chips or cracks. Some light internal micro-scratches. Very careful packaging and fast shipping.
