Villar Van De Ven SAFIR - Cycling jersey

This specific shirt is an iconic retro cycling jersey of the Belgian professional cycling team Safir, specifically from the period 1984–1985. In the years that this shirt was worn, big names rode for the Safir team, including the legendary Belgian cyclist Herman Van Springel. The Belgian pro team Safir existed from 1978 to 1988. The team was at the time known for its recognizable blue-and-white outfits and was in the cycling world also nicknamed "The Blue Guard."
