Lyrics by Villemer, music by Félicien Vargues. Large color lithographed cover signed by Ch. Clérice, depicting a military ceremony featuring French soldiers and flag bearers. The cover bears the inscription: “Premiered by the 78th Line Regiment on Place Kléber in Strasbourg in 1890.” Lyrics and music inside; four verses with a chorus. Advertisement for the publisher Bassereau on the last sheet. The BnF lists this score under call number B. 1084, with a cover by Charles Clérice; its catalog entry gives [1887] based on the legal deposit record, despite the printed date of 1890 on the score.
