Vincent Decat - Vincent Decat - Table lamp - Textile

My pieces are designed to be companions rather than possessions. I give my objects organic, animated characteristics, hoping that people will grow attached to them as to pets. Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist-designer, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, who explores the boundaries between design and sculpture. He considers an object's durability not only through its materials, but above all through the emotional bond it evokes. By making his objects almost alive, they become companions that must be cared for, kept, and cherished. A Little Desert Soul is imagined as a solitary traveler crossing the desert. A discreet presence, born and shaped by its environment. Entirely handmade, the piece combines patinated concrete, copper, and textile, blending raw mineral textures with delicate and tactile elements. Technical details : Cable length: 2.5 meters. Equipped with a dimmer to adjust the light intensity. Operates on a 220–230 V power supply with a Type E plug. #parisapartment
