Vincent STREIFF - Le plombier moustachu

Original work and unique piece (1/1) by French artist Vincent Streiff (VincePopArt). Vincent Streiff's work begins well before painting: he collects palettes that could no longer be used, dismantles them plank by plank, then completely handcrafts a custom support, cut and carefully sanded for this specific piece. Each painting thus arises from a wood with a unique history – grain patterns, knots, irregular cuts – which becomes the signature of Vincent Streiff's style, between pop art and street art. The famous mustached plumber from the retro video game launches into a full sprint at the heart of an explosive composition: acrylic paint in vivid colors, spray paint, stickers and collage from comic book excerpts, turning each plank into a fragment of his pixelated universe.
