Vincent STREIFF - Le plombier moustachu

Original work and unique piece (1/1) by the French artist Vincent Streiff (VincePopArt). Vincent Streiff's work begins well before painting: he collects palettes that could no longer be used, deconstructs them plank by plank, then manually shapes a custom support, cut and carefully sanded for this specific work. Each painting thus arises from wood with a unique history – grain, knots, irregular cuts – which becomes the signature of Vincent Streiff's style, between pop art and street art. The famous mustached plumber from the retro video game leaps into full sprint at the heart of an explosive composition: acrylic paint in vibrant hues, spray paint, stickers and collages of comic book excerpts turn each plank into a fragment of his pixelated universe.
