Vincent (XXI) - Il cancello sul giardino

This oil painting on canvas depicts a gate topped by a beautiful arch of roses. The flowers are rendered with bold brushstrokes and spatula work that create relief and movement, and the sky appears here and there through the thick leaves. Beyond the gate, a mysterious garden glimpses through, leaving room for the imagination. The canvas measures 75x55 cm, it is shipped without a frame, rolled in a tube, complete with certificate of authenticity. We do not arrange shipments outside the EU; orders outside the EU will be canceled! Vincent loves painting large canvases with strong color contrasts, he loves the relief effects he achieves with the spatula."
