Vincenzo Aurisicchio (1855–1926) – "La Dea Bendata" (Allegoria della Fortuna) – Bronze on a marble base – Italy, early 20th century. Description updated: Suggestive bronze sculpture with a brown patina depicting the famous iconography of the Lucky Goddess, the allegorical personification of Fortune. The work bears the signature in casting "V. Aurisicchio" on the back, guaranteeing the hand of the Neapolitan sculptor Vincenzo Aurisicchio (1855–1926). The artist combines the classical theme with the liveliness of Neapolitan verismo, giving the figure a brilliant smile and a dynamic, flowing hairstyle. The bust rests on its original light marble dado plinth. Dimensions: Overall height approx. 21–22 cm (bronze only approx. 14–15 cm). Conditions: Signs of age, patina wear and an ancient crack visible on the forehead/nose (clearly evident in the photos). Small chips at the corners of the marble base.
