Vintage 0.50ct Pink Tourmaline and Diamond Ring, c.1940s

A gorgeous tourmaline in a vivid shade of pink is vertically-flanked by two sparkling old cut diamonds, totalling 0.60 carat, at the heart of this delightful 1940s ring. The diamonds are H in colour and SI in clarity, typical of the era and work in perfect harmony with the wonderfully pink gemstone. This principal trio is presented in rubover mountings and the tourmaline is embraced to its east and west by a curving grain set foursome of rose cut diamonds. The ring’s original mille-grain edged setting is comprised of 18 carat white gold and it features a chenier-supported gallery.
