This ring is like an eternal summer. The high-carat yellow gold glows warmly, while the sparkling diamonds set fresh accents of light. A purple agate, reminiscent of blueberry ice cream, is set in the center of the cross-striped ring face. The basic idea of the ring is simple: the ring face is rectangular and the ring band is polished smooth. However, the ring surprises in the detail with fine embellishments. The transition from the ring band to the ring face features small C-sweeps, while the sawn shadow gaps in the ring face lend the design a certain dynamism. And the underside of the ring face is particularly impressive: small, hand-cut hearts await the beholder here. The colors that appear in this ring are typical of jewellery from the late 1970s to early 1990s. The romantic revival of historical forms is also characteristic of this period. The design is obviously a reference to late Art Deco jewellery - albeit in a modernized form. In fact, antiques were more in demand than ever in the 1980s and were considered a sign of good taste. We discovered this beautiful ring here in Berlin. It is in very good condition.
