ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $6,500* *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. Showcasing 1920s Art Deco craft, this platinum ring sets an Old European-cut center diamond flanked by side brilliants within an intricately pierced filigree plaque. Old European cutting predates the modern brilliant by a generation — high crown, small table, open culet — and returns light in slow, warm flashes that no contemporary cut reproduces. The milgrain borders and hand-pierced gallery are period hand work throughout.
