Vintage Enamel and Emerald Insect Pin

ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $1,600* *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. Rich in figurative detail, this vintage brooch builds an insect body encrusted with bright green emeralds and finishes the wings in hand-painted pink and yellow enamel with cabochon eyes. The scale is deliberately modest at 20mm — insect brooches were made to be discovered on a lapel rather than announced. A charming, wearable piece of period craft at a genuinely accessible price.
