LTD. with the company's Glasgow marking visible below the arbor, housed in a heavy cylindrical cast-brass maritime case with hinged glass front bezel secured by a side latch, with key, 23cm diameter Note: Dobbie McInnes Ltd were a renowned scientific instrument manufacturer based in Glasgow and were specialised contractors to the British Admiralty
