In Rossini's "La Gazza Ladra", the thieving magpie, the eponymous bird triggers a cascade of great emotions. The maid Ninetta is accused of having stolen a silver spoon and almost ends up on the scaffold before the spoon is discovered in the magpie's nest and Ninetta happily not only gets free but can also hold her lover in her arms again. And all this because of a bird! At least because of a bird whose plumage itself shines like a sparkling jewel in the sun, in metallic blue, black and bright white, cool and precious - and full of love for shiny objects. The ring here reminded us of Rossini's magpie. In its center, an ice-blue sapphire shines. To the right and left, like spread wings, are three very good quality brilliant cut diamonds each. Cool platinum holds all the gemstones in place. The goldsmith's work is reduced in its forms and entirely focused on the presentation of the beautiful gemstones. At the same time, the stones are held by bezels and securely protected on the outside, making the ring uncomplicated and suitable for everyday wear. The ring was created in Italy in recent years. It has been worn very little so far and is accordingly in very good condition. An independent appraisal has confirmed the quality of the materials, it is enclosed with the ring.
