Vintage Stud Earrings With Diamonds in Yellow & White Gold, Wempe, c. 1995

Clear shapes are often what we like best. The earrings here are no exception. They are designed as powerful arches, in the center of which is set a square full of diamonds, close together, creating a wide strip of light. Yellow gold arches join at the top and bottom of them, so that the shape of the earrings resembles a rectangle. The earrings come from the house of Hamburg jeweller Wempe. The earrings bear the hallmark of the house and a model number, they probably belong to the line "Statements". And such a statement they are, bold and powerful, yet soft and comfortable to wear. The earrings found their way to us from a Hamburg estate. They are also accompanied by a necklace in the same design. They are perfectly preserved. An independent certificate has confirmed the quality of the materials and is enclosed with the earrings.
