Vintage White Gold Toi-et-moi Ring With 0.94 ct Diamonds, Germany c. 1960

This white gold ring features an arrangement of two large brilliant cut diamonds and eight smaller diamonds in a classic composition. The two large diamonds, each weighing about 0.33 carats, are offset from each other and seem to correspond as if in a dance. Like two lovers in an intimate embrace, they are held securely by the ring band that curves around them. The form of the so-called "Toi-et-Moi" ring had a boom around 1900 and has lost none of its charisma since then. To this day, variations on this theme are created. This ring presents this idea in the contemporary taste of the years around 1960. The white gold brings out the radiant fire of the stones beautifully, which can also boast a wonderful refraction of light due to their excellent quality (vsi). The vintage ring has been made in Germany and is beautifully preserved. A high-quality as well as beautiful piece of jewellery, which can also be worn daily as an expression of love and attachment. It found its way to us here in Berlin.
