Viola Paterson (1899-1981), block print on fabric, Seahorses, 28.5cm x 17.5cm, mounted, glazed and framed. Paterson trained at the Slade under Henry Tonks and in Paris under Andre Lhote before becoming a renowned printmaker. Examples of her prints are in the collections of The V & A and the British Museum
