Vitra - Charles Eames - Side table - Model B - Walnut - Model B

Vitra Stool Model B Walnut Original Stool Model B, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Vitra, finished in a warm walnut wood appearance. The Stool is one of the characteristic small pieces of furniture from the body of work of Charles & Ray Eames. Although the design was originally conceived as simple and functional, its sculptural form and refined material use give it a strong independent presence. Model B is distinguished by its compact, solid form and carefully rounded contours. The use of walnut emphasizes the natural character of the wood and gives the object a warm, restrained appearance. The Eames Stool is versatile in use and can be employed as a stool, a side table, or purely as a decorative design object. Precisely because of its modest size and clear styling, it easily combines with other iconic pieces of furniture. What makes this exemplar interesting is the combination of a timeless Eames design with the rich appearance of walnut. An object that can be approached both functionally and sculpturally. A special design object for lovers of Charles & Ray Eames, Vitra and American modern design. Specifications • Design: Charles & Ray Eames • Model: Stool Model B • Manufacturer: Vitra • Material: Wood • Finish: Walnut • Type: Stool / footstool / side table • Condition: see photos The photos are an integral part of the description and give a good impression of the condition of the object.
