Volkswagen Beetle 1303 LS Fuel Injection Karmann Cabriolet. Import California - Rust-free General Here is offered a very rare Volkswagen Beetle Karmann Cabriolet – a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors. This cabriolet built by Karmann is one of the most sought-after variants of the iconic Beetle. It is an exceptionally beautiful specimen in very good condition; the car is drivable and ready for immediate use, making it valuable for both collectors and investors. Exterior The car has recently undergone an extensive rejuvenation, with the fenders repainted inside and out and the inner wings also taken into the color. The car is unhitched/undented, only the rear floor panels underneath the battery have been professionally replaced. The soft top is a bit older but functions well; the cover for the top is also present. Beautiful original chrome rims with caps and new tires with white walls. Interior The interior is completely original and in neat condition. The dashboard is also original, no cover. The state of the interior underscores the authenticity and careful preservation of this classic. All original instruments are present. The front seats and rear bench are in a neat condition. Technical The engine runs well and the gearbox shifts as it should. The old wiring loom has been fully inspected and repaired. Many parts have been renewed, including, for example: New tires. New brake calipers. New master cylinder. New injectors. New fuel tank sender. New fuel pump. Chassis The chassis is original and in a particularly neat, solid condition, reflecting the overall quality of the vehicle. Documentation The car is supplied with full documentation and USA title and import documentation Including instruction manual. This VW does not require a COC document (entered in 1996) for registration within Europe given the age of the car. PICKUP: This car can be viewed and possibly picked up in Damwoude, Netherlands. OTHER INFORMATION: A rare opportunity to own a genuine time capsule — an unhitched, original and in exceptional condition, technically fully updated and ready for many years of driving pleasure. As this car, after waking from a years-long storage in California, has received good maintenance, there may still be something that comes to light requiring attention. We try to describe the cars as honestly and accurately as possible, but they are used vehicles. So there may always be something that needs attention or shows signs of use. We therefore request that you come view the car if in doubt. We can assist with transport across Europe.
