Set of 12 volumes numbered 1 to 12, in French. Main pagination listed in a bibliographic catalog for this edition, volumes I to XII: 256, 280, 305, 271, 333, 264, 251, 241, 304, 246, 280 and 285 pages, i.e. 3,316 numbered pages in total; preliminaries or unnumbered leaves included. Another notice gives 332 pages for volume V. These figures describe the edition and do not constitute a verification of the collation of this copy. Bindings in brown half-leather with blue paper boards, smooth spines with red title pieces and dark volume labels, gilded rules. The bindings show scuffs and color variations, small wear at the headcaps and edges; the gilding and some letters on the pieces are worn. The title pages photographed show signs of time.
