Voorouderportret - local - China (No reserve price)

This painting depicts ancestors. It is handmade using the giclée technique on canvas. It shows a family or group of dignitaries seated in a formal, symmetrical arrangement against a background with vases and windows. On the chest of the robes are so-called buzi, or mandarin squares, which in old China denoted the civil or military rank of an official. Handcrafted painting on heavy linen or cotton inspired by the painting tradition from the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) given the age, certainly in good condition. Shipping is done with track and trace. The canvas is rolled for shipping
