Wall clock - Juwelier Hörl Prototype - Mid-century modern Aluminium - 1970-1980

Vintage Space Age Wall Clock – Juwelier Hörl Augsburg (1970s Geometric Edition) Up for sale is a rare, authentic handmade unique Space Age wall clock originally created as an exclusive display prototype by the prestigious German jeweler Juwelier Hörl Augsburg. This exceptional piece features a sophisticated optical layout that combines mathematical structure with Op-Art influences. The face is constructed from beautiful multi-toned, grain-brushed stainless steel plating arranged into a starburst and diamond matrix, set against a dark painted wooden backing frame. A raised, circular gunmetal-finish ring frames the dial, punctuated by twelve cylindrical, polished metallic stud indexes that serve as 3-dimensional hour markers. Specifications • Design Era: 1970s Space Age • Origin: Juwelier Hörl Augsburg (Germany) • Dimensions: 25.5 cm x 25.5 cm x 3.0 cm • Weight: 1.5 kg • Movement: Fitted with a new, silent and reliable quartz clockwork (battery operated). Condition & Details • Cosmetics: Excellent pre-loved condition. The geometric stainless steel segments and polished markers retain a clean, crisp luster. The blue-painted wood backing shows minor vintage character on the rear, entirely hidden when hung. Note that the 6 o'clock stud features a contrasting circular detail plate adding to its unique prototype charm. • Authenticity: Retains its original jeweler stock number sticker ("3451") on the reverse side. • Functionality: Fully tested and running perfectly on a fresh AA battery. Item will be packed with professional care using heavy-duty protection to ensure a safe delivery.
