wall clock / wall sculpture - JAN PAUL - Modern Wood

“Time is an illusion” Most wall clocks have the same basic shape: round. They also share the same time-indication by numbers or stripes. "MOCAP" steps away from the basic. Its appearance leans more toward a piece of conceptual art than to a basic time-telling clock. Therefore it also functions as a wall-mounted sculpture. When you stand in front of the clock: the numbers are clear and visible. When you walk around it: the numbers slowly seem to dissolve, and appear to fall apart into little floating green spheres. This optical illusion results in a striking and intriguing piece. Status: Unlimited edition, signed and numbered by maker. material: composite / wood / metal color: Clock-face finished in matte white, causing the yellow spheres to seemingly float in mid-air. -Clock-hands finished in white . maintenance: regularly dust off with a duster. Use damp cloth gently for stains.
