Wall mirror - Mahogany

Elegant and imposing rectangular antique dressing-mroom/wardrobe mirror dating from the early 1900s. Originally conceived as the upper finishing piece for a dresser or antique sideboard. The frame features noteworthy handcrafted work, made in heavy solid wood (walnut/mahogany) with rich veneer and warm, pronounced natural grain. The upper cap is adorned with refined inlays in light wood depicting stylized clover motifs and geometric-floral elements. The central mirror retains the original glass with an elegant beveled edge (mullioned/biseautage), which guarantees luster and visual depth. The back displays the classic structural wooden construction with joints and containment slats. Being designed for a dresser, it lends itself perfectly to wall hanging as a statement decorative mirror or to be placed above a modern or classic console or sideboard.
