Wall sconce (2) - Brass - Nautical wall sconce

Set of 2 marine-style wall sconces with removable reflector. Style: Inspired by old oil lamps or electrified marine-style luminaires. Material: Body, base and reflector in polished brass. Shade: Central opaline (or frosted) glass globe diffusing a soft light. Chimney: Small cylindrical glass tube on the top. Year: 1950 They consist of a body with a socket for an electric bulb. The wall connection is at the rear and can be completely recessed, a partially frosted glass globe, an optional clip-on rear reflector. The lamps are in very good condition. Note a brown area on the varnish of one of the reflectors due to repair by welding a mounting clip. This defect is invisible once the reflector is mounted on the lamp.
