Wall shelf unit (2) - Wood - Baroque wood pair

Pair of wall-mounted shelves in solid walnut wood, matte black finish, with rich carved relief decoration: at the center of each is a carved head with a face of marked features, surrounded by a volute and foliate frieze in Baroque taste; below, an intricately carved drapery that tapers downward. The top shelf is shaped with a wavy edge and molded profile. Perfect as plant shelves, to display statuettes, candles, small collectible objects, or as a decorative element in entrances, living rooms and spaces in classical, rustic-elegant or wunderkammer styles. The carving is deep and legible: pieces with character, not flat reproductions. Early 1900s Dimensions: height about 32 cm · width about 32 cm · shelf depth about 20 cm each. Condition: Used. Finish intact on nearly the entire surface, with slight wear of chafing at the relief points and small imperfections typical of an antique handcrafted piece. Solid and supporting structure. The two shelves show differences in carving between them, as visible in the photos: they are not a mass-produced product. Notes: sold as a pair. Please carefully observe the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.
