Walt Disney - Tramp Animation Drawing - Lady and the Tramp (Walt Disney, 1955)

Lady and the Tramp (Walt Disney, 1955) Tramp Animation Drawing "A rat!" Rushing in to protect Lady's family in her stead is the brave leading street dog, Tramp, in this intense animation drawing from Walt Disney's fifteenth feature length animated film Lady and the Tramp. Celebrating 70 years since its grand theatrical release! Tramp was animated by a few of Walt Disney's "Nine Old Men", with supervision from Woolie Reitherman (1909 - 1985) and including Frank Thomas (1912-2004), and Milt Kahl (1909-1987). This intense image bears resemblance to Tramp's pose seen near the 1:06:16 timestamp, as Tramp makes his way into the nursery, ready to protect Jim Dear and Darling's baby from a rat. Tramp's rat battle was largely animated by one of Disney's "Nine Old Men" Woolie Reitherman, who excelled at animating fights, confrontations, and chase scenes. Rendered in detailed strokes of graphite on a 16 field sheet of animation paper. The drawing has light age-related toning, handling wear, minor debris, superficial wrinkling that partially crosses Tramp's back leg, and edge wear with a torn upper right corner. Overall, this vintage piece of production artwork is in Very Good condition.
