He was part of the group that, in 2001, designed the church of Ca' Staccolo in Urbino. An universe, Valentini’s, poetic, rhythmic, musical, a geometric and evocative symbolism that leads to a synthesis, almost metaphysical and surreal, a relationship between sign, structure and visual matter that tends toward a new constructive art rich in suggestive elements to the point of appearing as “states of mind.” Since the 1970s he deepened the connection between painting and engraving, along with a thorough shaping of space with temporal valences, time and space, interpreted and reinvented with mastery through lines, abrasions, cracked walls, architectures and magical, poetic geometries."
