A0000005192 The fountain pen is in an exceptional aesthetic and structural state, evidencing extremely careful use and optimal storage over the years: Body and Cap: The characteristic cylindrical body, with its matte brushed steel finish, remains impeccable. After a detailed inspection, no dents, impacts, or deep scratches that would alter the purity of its lines are observed. The metal maintains a uniform texture along its entire length. Original Engravings: At the base of the cap, the machined engravings ("WATERMAN" and "MADE IN FRANCE") remain absolutely sharp, clean, and deep, with no wear from continued rubbing. Clip and Gold Elements: The iconic gold-plated clip that gives the model its name, finished in that elegant form of the "Goutte" drop, presents a spectacular mirror-like shine. No signs of wear on the plating, dings, tarnishing, or pronounced edge wear are observed. Nib and Feed: The fluted grooved nib is in perfect condition, free of cracks or pressure marks. The nib (which in this high-end model is usually made of solid 18k gold) appears intact, clean, and with the tines perfectly aligned, without deformations.
