Watermelon Tourmaline – Elegant crystal with intense...

Very attractive rubellite with a strong pink to raspberry coloration and the characteristic, distinctly pronounced longitudinal banding of the tourmaline. Especially beautiful is the interplay between transparent to translucent areas and the natural internal growth structures that give the crystal a lot of depth. The partly glossy crystal faces and natural fracture structures create lively reflections depending on the incidence of light. The intense color remains over large areas of the piece and makes this rubellite a particularly decorative and collectible specimen. Rubellite ranks among the most coveted color varieties of the tourmaline group due to its attractive red and pink tones. In lithotherapy this is traditionally associated with joie de vivre, emotional strength, and heart energy. A high-quality collector’s piece with strong color, beautiful crystal structure, and expressive natural aesthetics.
