Waukesha, Wisconsin. $100 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 698. Waukesha NB. Charter #1086. PMG Very Fine 25. A tough type and denomination for the likes of Wisconsin. This evenly circulated, but imperfect $100 Plain Back issued by the Waukesha National Bank (Charter# 1086) during the 1920s is one of roughly a dozen pieces recorded on Wisconsin for the type and denomination by the National Bank Note Census. Here one may observe signs of honest circulation while the impetus behind the comments applied by PMG is not obstructed by an amateur's shoddy restoration attempt, but to the numismatist from Waukesha with an interest in National Bank Notes this should be immaterial and something easily overlooked. PMG comments "Soiling, Ink Rub." Estimate: $800 - $1,200. Click here for certification details from PMG.
