Weather station - Brass, Acrylic glass - Sputnik style weather station

Dear Bidders, Thank you for your interest in my offer. I'm offering a Sputnik weather station in Space age style ( barometer, thermometer, hydrometer) in a good / fair vintage working condition for its age. This weather station exceptionally still has the wall mounting piece — 95% of them don’t, as it usually gets lost over the years. This part can probably be unscrewed so that the station can be placed in an upright position (as shown in the example in the second photo in the gallery). SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS: * Made in West Germany before reunification ( probably by Huger ) * Material: plastic, brass * Hight ca.25 cm * Please watch carefully all the pictures, they are also a part of description ( each one can be enlarged ) * I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc. - Any major damage -s is / are ALWAYS shown in the photos - * Please remember about Catawiki’s rules and make a payment maximally within 3 days after auction end The vases will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ). IMPORTANT: If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment. Please don’t bid if you don’t accept that. Happy bidding and good luck! ***Condition categories according to Catawiki:*** * „as new” - unused * „excellent condition” - barely used with minimal signs of wear / usage * „good condition” - used with small signs of aging and / or imperfections / defects * „fair condition” - heavily used with possibly minor damage / parts missing * „poor” - heavily used with major cracks, damages and / or major parts missing * „very poor” - showing significant decay, loss of original texture or solidity of the material
