Wedgwood 3-Piece Porcelain Coffee Set with Blue Handles and Platinum Bands

This three-piece Wedgwood porcelain coffee set reflects the Modernist style of the Art Deco period. The set includes a tall, footed coffeepot with a lid, a demitasse cup, and a matching saucer. The coffeepot features a tapered, ovoid body on a pedestal foot, a curved spout, and a lid topped with a conical finial. The demitasse cup is of a cylindrical form. Each piece is crafted from fine white porcelain and decorated with horizontal platinum luster bands. A distinguishing feature is the vibrant cobalt blue glaze applied to the handles of the coffeepot and cup. Matching blue line accents are visible on the foot of the pot and the rim of the cup, while the saucer is decorated with four concentric platinum rings. The underside of each piece bears the brown printed Wedgwood mark featuring the Portland Vase and the words MADE IN ENGLAND. Hand-painted notations in orange red include the numbers 5/29 on all pieces, with a letter S on the pot and a letter K on the cup and saucer. Each item also carries a circular silver sticker for the Rubin Collection. Largest piece dimensions: 7.00"L x 4.00"W x 8.75"H.
