A circular plate manufactured by Wedgwood. The center features a brown transfer-printed armorial crest for the Stewart family, depicting a demi-swan with wings expanded and elevated, gorged with a ducal coronet. Below the crest is a ribbon scroll containing the Latin motto VIRESCIT VULNERE VIRTUS. A delicate brown-printed floral border surrounds the central motif.
