A Wedgwood cream-colored earthenware or Queen's Ware tankard featuring a slightly tapered body and a molded angular handle. The piece is decorated with professional hand-painted motifs centered on fly fishing, including a leaping trout over a grassy bank, an Atlantic salmon leaping from water, and a colorful wet fly lure. The tankard is personalized on the side with the name BOBBIE in brownish-gold script. The handle is further detailed with hand-painted scrolls, and the base is encircled by three applied bands of gilding. The underside features a green printed circular backstamp for Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston, including the characters KM and Made in England. The base is hand-signed in black script and contains a partially visible incised Wedgwood mark. Two collector labels are present: a yellow circular label for Earl Buckman Wedgwood and a gray circular label for the Ruben Collection.
