All auctions / Ethnographical / Well-curated collection of micromounts Austria - Height...
Lot AA57 (45 pieces). A well-curated collection of micromounts, originating from various localities in Austria. See the second image for the labels. Gross weight: 340 g. Micromounts (microscopic stereo preparations) require, among other things, at least a good magnifier (×10), better a stereo microscope, or a handheld USB microscope to do these beautiful specimens justice. The minerals are mounted in clear standard polystyrene boxes (28×28×22 mm) and provided with the mineral name and locality in machine-printed text. The boxes are of good quality. The labels used are easy to remove, leaving no adhesive residue. Identification of the micromounts has been done mainly visually (no analysis), so it cannot be guaranteed 100%. The colors in the photos may, due to technical reasons, differ slightly. The lot will be packed in a new cardboard outer and will be shipped insured.
