All auctions / Ethnographical / Welo opal is Ethiopian
This natural cabochon displays a remarkably intense play of colors: electric green flashes, emerald, yellow, and red explode on a golden background sprinkled with bolts that change with each angle of light. The colors are vivid and contrasting, signature of the most expressive Welo opals. Provenance: Welo region, world reference for opal since the 2000s. Lithotherapy: Stone of creativity and emotion, opal is associated with the sacral chakra and the crown chakra. It amplifies artistic expression, fosters spontaneity, and invites embracing change with ease. Care: Welo opal is a hydrophane stone; it absorbs water. Avoid repeated contact with water, perfumes, and household products, to prevent irreversible internal microcracks. Ethiopian opal features the ability to rapidly change appearance depending on the intensity and nature of the light illuminating it. Depending on brightness, you may see multicolored fires or simply a clear, milky base. ‑ 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Dispatch twice a week. For Europe and international orders, delivery can take 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and customs clearance delays at the borders. 3. All my stones are genuine, without color treatments, resin, or plastic. They have all been selected with care, but as they are natural and handmade products, they may occasionally show small imperfections. 4. Photos were taken with appropriate lighting to faithfully reproduce the stone’s natural colors as accurately as possible. 5. Unlike industrial jewelry, a handmade gemstone and silver piece crafted by hand, even of high quality, may show slight marks or traces that attest to its authenticity. 6. Please examine the photographs carefully; they are an integral part of the description. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
