Weloganite with Dresserite and Calcite CW1945 Crystals on...

In the geode, a number of Weloganite crystals of a delicate pale yellow color are on proud display, some centimeters in size, gleaming, sometimes coated with a white patina of Dresserite, also present inside the geode. A few small Calcite crystals are also present. Found in the 1970s, this sample comes from a quarry that has been inactive for decades. The sample is photographed under intense professional lighting to best highlight details and color. Any slight variations in color tones depend on the device settings used and/or exposure to ambient or artificial light of different color temperatures. CW1945
