Welsh Regiment, Officer’s Waist Belt Clasp. A very good and scarce silver and gilt Victorian example, circa 1881-1902, the silver circlet inscribed ‘The Welsh Regiment’, the seeded centre mounted with a silver dragon upon a torse, the belt loops with universal pattern rococo shoulders, unusually with the acorn finials, with matching bench marks ‘5’ (see Ryan p.208) very good condition and scarce £120-£160.
