West Paterson, New Jersey. $5 1929 Ty. 2. Fr. 1800-2. Westside NB. Charter #12848. PMG Very Fine 25. A tough charter by virtue of the fact that only 19 pieces are recorded here by the National Bank Note Census at present. The Westside National Bank of West Paterson (Charter# 12848) was a short-lived charter that had organized in 1925 and fell to receivership in 1933 amidst the pressures of the Great Depression which left room for very few survivors. Yet this example is particularly special as it stands as one of the last notes issued by this bank in 1933 and as one of only two T2 $5s recorded making it a real opportunity for the "completionist" who collects New Jersey Nationals. Estimate: $500 - $800. Click here for certification details from PMG.

Estimate:£224.25
