A gently rolling English landscape with walking men and women (one of them on horseback). Oil on canvas. Signed bottom left: William Dove. Dated: 1830. Dimensions excluding the frame: 26 x 36 cm. Condition: the work is in good condition, but the varnish layer could be removed and reapplied, which would brighten the colors again. Includes the original heavy and ornate frame that you receive for free and equipped with an old hanging eye and long chains to hang the work. This artwork will be carefully packaged for shipping.
