When young leaves sprout to the light of the sun, they show a delicate green. The sun still shines through them and a walk in the park at this time shows unmistakably: Spring is here. The ring here shines in this fresh, spring green. For its center is occupied by a luminous, large emerald surrounded by a frame of sparkling diamonds. The emerald in the unusual navette cut, weighing about 2.40 carats, catches the eye. Its colour is intense and its body very transparent. Only a delicate so-called "jardin" of fine crystal inclusions enlivens its interior and shows the naturalness of the stone. The radiant fire of the fine diamonds really brings out the intense green of the gemstone. A total of 1.26 ct of diamonds are set here, of white colour (G – H) and mostly very good clarity (mostly vsi – si, few stones pi). Settings and ring band are forged from high karat white gold. The quality of the emerald and diamonds have been examined by an independent laboratory in Idar-Oberstein. The ring came to us from Paris and its hallmarks show that it was made in France as well. A real jewel of pure joy of life in colours of an eternal spring.
