Working tool - Anvil

Antique Bench Anvil with Double Horn in Forged Iron – 16 kg Up for auction: a fascinating and sturdy antique bench anvil (pocket anvil with a double horn), a piece of exceptional artisanal craftsmanship dating back to the late 19th century. This tool stands out for its generous proportions and substantial weight of 16 kg, features that make it ideal both as a high-end collectible piece and as a bold industrial-style decorative element (Industrial Design). The object features a slender double-horn structure (one conical and one pyramidal), historically designed for precision work, tinsmithing, or goldsmithing or artistic work on copper and sheet metal. At the bottom it has the classic square tang, originally designed to be inserted into the hardy hole of a larger workshop anvil or into a wooden block. The surface shows a beautiful and genuine patina of time with the classic signs of use that attest its history and authenticity, without structural cracks that would compromise its solidity. Technical specifications: • Type: Anvil / Bench anvil with double horn • Era: Late 19th century • Material: Forged iron / Steel • Dimensions: 48 x 18 x 14 cm • Weight: 16 kg • Condition: Excellent structural condition, stunning original patina from historical wear (see photos for details). A splendid opportunity for collectors of antique tools, blacksmiths, or lovers of antique design. The piece will be packed with maximum care and shipped with rapid tracking.
