This visual exploration became a passion that had to be realized. XTC defines himself as a self-taught plastic artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals. He is inspired, among others, by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general. All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
