Tabasco HOT Fire Extinguisher by XTC. Completely painted with spray paints and varnish, no stickers, even the label is fully painted for a uniform result and better durability over time. Hand-finished aluminum sculpture by the artist XTC, with acrylic paint and varnish, created on a commercially manufactured blank base (fire extinguisher). The edition number applies to the artist-painted finish and not to the base object, the extinguisher. Numbered out of 30 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided. The piece sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar. Careful packaging and tracked shipping. Born in 1978 in central France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that was meant to come to fruition. XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption, making them clash with the worlds of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
