XTC Artist - Pomme Tiffany 17cm

XTC Artist - Pomme Tiffany 17cm

Tiffany resin apple by XTC. Approximately 14-15 cm in diameter and 17 cm high. Hand-finished resin sculpture by the Artist XTC with acrylic paints and varnishes and vinyl, created on a commercially produced blank base. The edition number applies to the artist-finished piece and not to the base object. Numbered /20 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided. The piece sent is not the one in the photo but will be similar; the stem shape may differ, and it will be unique. Careful, tracked shipping. Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration evolved into a passion that was to be realized. XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumer culture (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals. He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general. All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
